About Us

John Barnhart & his daughter, Claire,
"All our miniature donkeys have been bred
for temperament and disposition,
ensuring a friendly and gentle pet."

In keeping with Goliad County’s rich cultural and historical heritage, the Barnhart Miniature Mediterranean donkeys are named for Texas and Mexico’s most famous and infamous characters: Pancho Villa, Lady Bird Johnson, Benito Juarez, and Emily Morgan, to name a few.

And our donkeys are comfortable in any environment...
